We just wanted to thank you for one of our loveliest holidays ever. Your hospitality was amazing. You did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We felt like one of the family. The place is so beautiful and peaceful. The staff (especially the girls who waited on us with pleasure and dignity) We met some really lovely people, incuding Bob and Liz who stayed in The Stone House who we will stay in touch with. One day we hope to come back and bring my three sons and families with us.

We noticed Dimitri enjoyed watering the flowers (well the ground actually!) and we have sent him a little watering can in the post. I do apologise at the length of time it has taken me to get in contact but I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the wonderful time Simon and I had at Glyfada at the beginning of July. The atmosphere at your resort is so relaxed and friendly and provides the most wonderful base for enjoying the quaint charm that is Paxos. I have not visited the Ionian since 2000 and it was great to be back!

Thank you also for your kindness in allowing our friends come to visit. Their girls absolutely loved your pool and it was a great treat for them to be able to use your fabulous facilities.

I wish you all the very best for the rest of the season – you deserve to be fully booked at all times as it is your personalities that make Glyfada such a special place.

Dear Doreen and Spiros,

I just wanted to say a huge thank you, on behalf of all my friends, for our wonderful holiday at Glyfada Beach. Everything went so well - you organised it perfectly. Your representatives on Corfu were really helpful and our transfer home went very smoothly.

We all thought that Glyfada Beach was heaven on earth. It is even more beautiful than it looks in the photographs in your brochure.

Please pass on our thanks to Spiros and his family and to your staff for looking after us so well.

I know that we were rather hard work to look after, as we so enjoy being together and move around as 40 people at once! I hope that our children were not too noisy and that the other guests did not find us too annoying. Once again, thank you Doreen. I hope that you might consider having us back another time.

Dear Spiros & Doreen

We wanted to thank you for a great holiday.

You really have created something quite unique on Paxos. We usually rent private villas, but with the children getting older we realised that they might enjoy a bit of company, although quite honestly we prefer peace & quiet! You provided the perfect combination in a fantastic location, and managed to retain the greek atmosphere too. There is so much space that we always felt we could find somewhere quiet to relax and the children quickly found others to play with, but being a small development is was never noisy.

The food was great (although Matthew may have eaten a seasons supply of chicken nuggets!) and we really enjoyed the combination of some nights in and others out exploring.

The location of the Stone House was perfect for us – and the view was just breathtaking. Sadly I am now looking out at a very dull grey view of Surrey.

You were both so helpful and anything we needed (taxis, boat hire etc) was always taken care of.

We certainly hope to return, I’m not sure the children will ever settle for a private villa again – however luxurious! Luckily we were so relaxed & lazy we have still left parts of Paxos unexplored.

Sadly we're back home in England after a fantastic two weeks being your "house guests". Yes, we really felt that you had made us special guests at your home and couldn't wait to make us relax and enjoy beautiful Paxos with zero worries or cares.

You have a unique place which provides the perfect escape from the traditional "tourist package" and we shall probably never find better. A holiday we shall always remember and certainly hope to return next year. Many many thanks to you both and of course to lovely Helen, please send her our love also.

Hope that the hectic summer months ahead don't place too much strain on mum-to-be and that you get the occasional chance to put your feet up!

Both James and I agreed that we have never visited a resort that was so relaxing, accommodating and set up for a perfect holiday. Starting with your excellent help in booking the holiday, right through to the holiday itself and having Spiros and his staff ensuring we had a lovely time.

What can I say? - We have had the most fantastic holiday!!!

Thank you so much for your organisation (of our transfers) - it couldn't have gone smoother, and I truly believed that I had arrived in Paradise when we got to Glyfada.

A big big thank you to Spiros for all work in ensuring that we all had a fantastic holiday - Glyfada is one of the most tranquil and serene places in the whole of Greece, - he is one of the nicest people we have ever met and we will certainly be returning to his wonderful place as soon as we can.

We will be booking for next year and we will be staying for 2 weeks.

Again thank you so much for all your efforts!! Spiros said that you are going out in a week or so - I hope you have a wonderful time.

Just wanted to write and let you know we had a fantastic time at Glyfada.

We would like to thank you, Spiros, the cooks, the cleaners and Angela for everything that you all did to make our stay so enjoyable. Please let them know that they all work together as a wonderful team, and Spiros was so helpful all the way through - nothing was too much trouble, and not forgetting yourself as our primary contact point of course - you put us so much at ease even before we left!

It's only been 23C in our bit of the UK today but oh so sticky!! Everyone at work has loved seeing the pictures (the wonders of digital cameras and computers!) and they think it is an idyllic place :-)

We have some very fond memories.
