Swimming Pools and Tennis Court

With the addition of a new swimming pool and Jacuzzi in 2006, Glyfada Beach Villas now has two swimming pools. The swimming pools are situated close to all the villas and are surrounded by olive and cypress trees. From the pools there are spectacular views of the Ionian Sea towards the Greek mainland and Corfu. To view photos of the pools click here.

There is an honesty bar at each swimming pool, offering soft drinks, beer and spirits and ice cream. There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas so there is no rush to get to the pools early. In fact, the pools are usually empty in the morning and begin to attract people in the late afternoon.

There is strictly no diving in either of the pools for your own safety. The deep end is 180cm, just under 6ft and the shallow end is 90cm, ideal for children. Every Thursday there  is  an organised game of water polo, which is always great  fun to join in or watch.

The Tennis Court

The tennis court is a hard court,  close  to  the  pool so if want you can refresh in  the  pool  after  your game. If you are a very  keen player, you are advised to bring your own rackets and balls, because numbers are limited. Please ask at  reception for  prices.
