Just  south  of Corfu, Paxos is the smallest and one of the most  beautiful  islands  of the Ionian Sea. The absence of an airport means it has avoided the influx of mass-tourism. The  distance  to  Corfu  is  only  30  miles  and  there  are regular ferry and sea-taxi services to and from Paxos.  The east coast offers beautiful beaches and green hills covered with olive groves and flowers. On the west  coast  of Paxos there are  dramatic cliffs and deep sea caves which can be explored by boat.
