If you are a very keen player, you are advised to bring your own rackets and balls because number are limited. All sessions need to be pre-booked at the reception or with the manager in Glyfada. Please ask at reception for prices. Greek TavernaGlyfada has it’s own Taverna close to the sea with a bar and a large terrace with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast is served from 8.30am and lunch from 1pm (both are included in the accommodation price). All the food is freshly prepared in the traditional way with the finest local ingredients. There is also a choice of vegetarian dishes, children’s food and a variety of salads, including our very own Glyfada salad. MuseumThe small Museum in Glyfada is very interesting as it presents a variety of artefacts found on Paxos. For example, there are oil lamps and old tools used for collecting olives (a speciality on Paxos). The musem can be found on the left, as you walk up the hill with the villas on your right. We recommend paying a visit because it provides a good insight into how people lived in the early days on Paxos. |
